Promise me for real this time, no more pranks." What was next, a pie in the face?Īmaya grinned. Under normal circumstances it would make Greg feel safe, but now he just felt like something bad was going to happen at any second. "It's just a little fun, relax Greg." Connor slung an arm over Greg's shoulders. "Even though you promised too- you still let her do it. Going as far as to jab him in the chest once to get Connor's attention when he was too busy laughing. "You promised no more pranks!" Suddenly Connor walked up beside Amaya, struggling to contain his amusement. "I adjusted the aim on the water fountain. The water soaked into the front of his shirt making goosebumps rise on his pale skin. He desperately wiped his face with the sleeve of his shirt, as the wind passed he shivered. Spraying the front of his shirt and pants. When he went to go take a drink of water, it came out too fast and at an odd angle. "Here, you use that water fountain, it's shorter." It was solid logic in Greg's opinion, though in hindsight he should have been suspicious of the way she grinned. He should have known something was amiss when Amaya decided to go with him, but he had dismissed the thought. During their time at recess, Greg got a little thirsty and decided to get a drink at the water fountain. Greg almost forgot what day it was, after all, he should be safe right? He did make them promise and promises you're not allowed to break. Because neither one of them planned on stopping. Greg beamed at them, and they both felt a little bad. "Please promise me you won't do anymore." He begged the look on his face made both of them relent. I was the one you guys pulled all your pranks on for the last three years in a row." Amaya looked a little disgruntled at the thought of not being able to pull off her master plan, and Connor looked a little sheepish at the fact that Greg was so tired of their jokes. Throwing the whoopie cushion on the lunch table, Greg rapidly shook his head. But not great, mine is going to be much better." Amaya said, puffing her chest out proudly. "That was great, it was so loud everyone had to have heard it!" For some reason, Greg didn't find that a comforting thought. Greg gave an affronted and betrayed look at the older boy, who just shrugged- wiping a tear from his eye. "April Fools!" Connor was laughing hard whereas Amaya struggled to contain her giggles. Lifting up his leg, he pulled out a red whoopie cushion that had been placed underneath him. He blushed as the other students laughed at the noise. However, the loud farting noise as he sat down certainly told him the other boy's ulterior motives. Sit right here." For a moment the blonde looked at Connor, wondering why he had to sit in what was usually Amaya's spot, but since the girl was already sat down on the other side of Connor- he figured they just got mixed up today. Connor had a small smile on his face, though for a very different reason. The boy was not sparing any details as he launched into the story of how he saw a deer and caught a fish (but threw it back into the lake because it was too small). It was lunchtime at school, Connor was goading Greg along to a seat in the cafeteria as Greg eagerly talked about his camping trip with his grandparents from over the weekend. Will the team pull together and face the enemy? Or will evil finally win? ![]() They take it too far, making Greg afraid to trust either of them, even as Gekko. They both seem to take it out on Greg, who is the easiest to pull their little 'practical jokes on' since he's so trusting (and naive). ![]() Summary: Connor and Amaya are a little too fond of April Fool's day.
